The following describes the different material and finishings that are used for our products:
 
Business cards, Folded Business Cards

  • Matt Card
    This is a thick business card (340gsm) with a traditional feel.


  • Matt Laminated Card
    This is a thick Matt business card (360gsm).
    A thin coating of lamination is applied to the card to give it a sophisticated and smooth look and feel which also enhances the durability of the card.
    Please note: The lamination is not the same as the thick plastic you may have seen on membership cards. Your business card will look very professional.


  • Gloss Laminated Card
    This is a thick Gloss business card (360gsm).
    A thin coating of lamination is applied to the card to give it a sophisticated and smooth look and feel which also enhances the durability of the card.
    Please note: The lamination is not the same as the thick plastic you may have seen on membership cards. Your business card will look very shiny and professional.


  • Gloss Card
    This is a thick business card (350gsm) with a shiny finish.


  • Silk Card
    This is a thick Matt business card (350gsm) with a silky finish.


  • Recycled Card
    This is a thick Matt business card (325gsm) printed on Recycled card which has a slightly rougher feel than a
    Matt card.
 
Leaflets and 300gsm Flyers

  • 135gsm or 300gsm Gloss
    This has a shiny finish and is the most common type of leaflet/flyer material.
    The 135gsm Gloss is normally heavier than the leaflets you may receive as junk mail.
    The 300gsm version is a little lighter than business card material. This is often referred to as a thin card.


  • Silk Card
    This has a silky finish and is not as shiny as the Gloss material.
    The 300gsm version is a little lighter than business card material. This is often referred to as a thin card.
